The Interdisciplinary Research Group on HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Rights conducts epidemiological and comprehensive investigations into the relationship between health and human rights. Its analyses address individual, social, and programmatic vulnerabilities that impact the health-disease-care process, increasing susceptibility to infectious and chronic diseases. Among the dimensions of special interest is the intersection of gender, sexuality, social markers of difference, and violence, with an emphasis on human rights, including sexual, reproductive, health, and non-discrimination rights.
