Federal agency of the Federal Government, created in 1937, linked to the Ministry of Tourism, responsible for the preservation and dissemination of the country’s tangible and intangible heritage.
ICOMOS – International Council of Monuments and Sites.
Global non-governmental organization associated with UNESCO. Its mission is to promote the conservation, protection, use and enhancement of monuments, urban centers and sites. ICOMOS is the advisory body of the World Heritage Committee for the implementation of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.
IGHMB – Institute of Geography and Military History of Brazil.
A civil association, of a cultural and scientific nature, aimed at promoting studies of Geography, Military History, Strategy and Geopolitics, as well as encouraging and carrying out the civic cult of glorious figures, acts and facts of the history of Brazil.
