Courses and Events

The Group’s Professors, as well as Students and Graduates, from both the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and the Professional Master’s Degree in Psychology, Development and Public Policies have participated in Congresses, Symposia, among other events, with the aim of disseminating the Scientific Productions of its Members.

In addition, the Group’s Teachers Have Promoted Extension and Specialization Courses, in Addition to Psychological Support Actions for the Community (Psychological Turn), Actions that Have Been Greatly Intensified Due to the Social Restrictions and Economic Difficulties Imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic, which Ended Up Inhibiting the Development of Psychological Disorders, as well as Psychological Suffering in a Large Part of the Population, Especially Young People, Adolescents and Adults.

Among the courses promoted by the group’s teachers we can mention:

• Specialization Course in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy , under the coordination of Professor Dr. Luana Carramillo Going;
• Specialization Course in Psychoanalysis , coordinated by Prof. Dr. Helio Alves.

Events:     some events take place annually, in the last 5/6 years, under the organization and coordination of professors from the research group:

• Freud at the University: from 2018, under the coordination of prof. dr. Helio Alves, with the collaboration of Prof. Dr. Daisy Inocencia Margarida de Lemos (2021 onwards). 
• Psychological Assessment Symposium (SAPSI) : under the coordination of Professor Dr. Hilda rosa Capellapio Avoglia, with the collaboration of teachers of the master’s and bachelor’s degree in Psychology, well as students.
