INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH GROUP IN PSYCHOLOGY: HEALTH, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE

The group was created in August 2018 and certified by the Catholic University of Santos, together with the CNPQ, with one of its purposes being to bring together professors and researchers in Psychology and related areas, seeking to expand the knowledge not only of professors, but also of students, encouraging them to practice research.

This research group aims to carry out studies and research in the area of ​​Psychology, with an emphasis on topics related to psychological and innovative practices in health, education and social assistance.

The research developed by the group has expanded knowledge on several subjects related to the psychological practices already highlighted. Some studies have been developed under the coordination of psychologist and professor Dr. Daisy IM Lemos: assessment of the stress level of students in the transition from EFI to EFII, whose data have sparked the interest of some schools in the region on the subject; research to assess the mental health and stress of adolescents in the career choice phase; research to assess the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the psychological health of university students. Research on games and moral development has been coordinated by psychologist and professor Dr. Luana C. Going. Research on the topic related to the refugee population has been coordinated by psychologist and professor Dr. Helio Alves. Research focused on the psychological assessment of children and adolescents in situations of social and emotional vulnerability has been developed by psychologist and professor Dr. Hilda Avoglia.
